Join the Group
The group organises seminars, workshops conferences and other events and has an e-mail discussion list as well as a web page. New members, including students, are very welcome to join the Group. Join the Ageing, Body & Society JISCmail list.
- To join, or subscribe to the Ageing, Body & Society list yourself:
Send an email to listserv@jiscmail.ac.uk, leaving the subject box blank and the following two-line command in the body of the mail:
subscribe AGEINGBODYSOCIETY firstname lastname
--
The second command line is two minus signs - this stops JISCmail trying to process any signature information which may be appended to your email message.
You will receive a subscription confirmation message. Just respond to this message and your subscription will be complete.
- To suspend email from the Ageing, Body & Society list (useful when you go on holiday)
Send an email to listserv@jiscmail.ac.uk, leaving the subject box blank and the following two- line command in the body of the mail:
set AGEINGBODYSOCIETY nomail

You will receive a message confirming that you have suspended email from this list. - To resume email from the Ageing, Body & Society list (when you return from holiday)
