On 13 September, authors of influential articles from Sociology will come together with early career researchers, in a workshop on ‘Intersections and Interdisciplinarity’. Speakers include Michaela Benson, Ted Benton, Sarah Burton, Benedetta Cappellini, Kate Dashper, Vicki Harman, Maurizio Meloni, Geoff Payne, Louise Ryan, Sue Scott and David Skinner, who will speak to themes of being a sociologist inside and outside of sociology, social and geographical mobilities, and social science and life science. The format of the day will allow discussion and consideration of important questions of continuity and change in the preoccupations, approaches and working lives of sociologists.
