You can now renew online. All you have to do is log into the Members' area on the website and click 'Renew Your Membership'. This will then update your membership automatically and you will be a fully paid up member to the BSA for 2018.
Have you changed any of your personal details or moved institutions? Has your membership category changed? Have you retired or are you celebrating a new post?

This year we have had a very successful year. We launched the first book from our new series, 21st Century Standpoints, held a very successful Annual Conference in Manchester, supported many PGFs and ECRs with free conference places and through the support fund. Can you afford not to be part of the association?
Members who have previously signed up for direct debit will automatically have their membership payment taken on or around 2 February 2018. If you have not previously signed up for a direct debit you can still do this for 2018 and receive a £5 discount from your membership fee.
If you are an ECR who has received your PhD in the past three years and are not working in a permanent position, you may be eligible for the concessionary rate for membership. Please email Claire Simmons to see if you qualify.
Finally, once you have renewed your membership, you will then be able to sign up for the members’ discounted rate for the BSA Annual Conference at Northumbria University from 10-12 April 2018. Bookings for this event are now open.
