We have an exciting line-up of speakers and panels, and there will be special virtual spaces for networking and exhibitors.

Funded Places

We remain committed to building new generations of sociologists and this means keeping the conference accessible for those without the economic or institutional resources to attend. This year there will be 100 free places: 40 places for PG students, 40 for ECR and 20 for hardship. We have also limited the increase in fees for concessionary members as much as possible.  Find out more and submit your application by Monday, 8 January 2024.  APPLY NOW>

Reciprocal Agreements

BSA reciprocal agreements members can attend partner organisations' events at reduced rates. The BSA has reciprocal agreements with:

• The Australian Sociological Association (TASA)
• British Society of Criminology
• Sociological Association of Aotearoa New Zealand (SAANZ)
• Social Policy Association
