Description
|
In this interview Professor Nayak, of Newcastle University, speaks about race and ethnicity in higher education from the point of view of inequality. He talks about attempts to reduced this inequality, such as including more non-white scholars on students' reading lists and ensuring that interview panels have more academics from ethnic minorities. He says that his own research has found that the question of race and racial prejudice remains at the core of the lives of people from ethnic minorities in Britain today.
